During my time here, I’ve been part of a fast-moving marketing team, working across motion, design, and animation for a range of campaigns and product launches. I started as a senior member of the motion graphics and design team, before leading the UK team and the Photoleap product vertical. Our work spans broadcast, YouTube, social, and digital platforms, creating campaigns that showcase how Lightricks products empower creativity in everyday users. While much of my focus has been on Photoleap, I’ve contributed to a wide range of products and initiatives across the company, including Lightricks’ latest AI ventures and the development of LTX Studio. The variety of work here, from hands-on motion design to leading cross-functional creative, has been a constant opportunity to explore how design, storytelling, and technology can come together in new ways. personality. The model itself is intentionally clean and stylised, built from basic shapes with a slight mechanical feel, but refined so it sits somewhere between toy-like and genuinely tactile. I used the project as a chance to jump back into Redshift in C4D and refresh my texturing workflow. Aimed at kids aged four to seven, Boomerang celebrates timeless, laugh-out-loud cartoons like Scooby Doo and Looney Tunes. Beyond the TV channel, the brand connects with children through its website, social media, and YouTube, so the rebrand needed to feel consistent and full of character across every touchpoint. Turner wanted to retain the familiar Boomerang logo, but everything else was open for reinvention. We created a flexible system built around short, playful mini idents rather than fixed openers. Each piece could stand alone or be mixed, matched, and remixed by the in-house team to create a sense of anarchic kid chaos - everything that’s great about being young, loud, and full of imagination. Content became the heartbeat of the brand, with Boomerang’s iconic characters driving the storytelling. They approached me during my time at Jam to create a series of short, looping motion stings celebrating several of their most popular typefaces. Each animation was designed to bring the personality of the letterforms to life, exploring rhythm, texture, and movement through typography. I took on Row, Row, Row Your Boat and had a great time turning the classic song into a lively, colourful world of movement and imagination. The project was a chance to experiment with new techniques, using Cinema 4D with toon shaders for a stylised 3D look, along with both C4D and After Effects character rigging to bring the animation to life. The series mixed goals and highlights from the week’s Football League action with fun features like SpongeBob vs. Mascot, Chip ’n’ Bin, and Be the Manager. I led the design and animation team in creating the full on-air graphics package, from the logo and title sequence to results lower thirds, fixture tables, transitions, stings, and break bumpers. The concept took inspiration from the stylised, silhouetted character design seen in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, using bold shapes and dynamic movement to build a sense of power and anticipation. Aimed at the Middle Eastern market, the ad told its story through a playful low poly animation designed to appear on one of McDonald’s most familiar surfaces, the paper tray mats found on every tray. The concept turned an everyday object into a storytelling platform, using it to visualise the brand’s small but meaningful steps toward positive change. The work included logo design, title sequence, lower thirds, stings, and bumpers, creating a cohesive on-air identity that reflected the fast-paced energy of competitive gaming. Spectator Mode takes viewers inside their favourite events, with interviews and unseen footage from eSports tournaments around the world.
